The child then familiarizes themselves with the office, gets used to the staff, and also learns proper dental care.

Our motto is the health, safety, and comfort of our youngest patients.

Pediatric dental clinic

We provide children's dental treatment in comfortable conditions, adhering to all safety rules in our dental office. In our work, we use modern and safe treatment methods, as well as proven materials from reputable manufacturers. This ensures that your child's teeth are in good hands, and for our little patients, a visit to the pediatric dentist will not be associated with anything unpleasant.

We recommend the first meeting as soon as the first tooth appears. This will allow us to provide parents with the necessary knowledge about their child's oral hygiene, to avoid future problems with tooth decay or to minimize the development of orthodontic defects. During the first visit, we will introduce effective methods of caries and malocclusion prevention.

Among our services for the youngest, you can find:

  • adaptation visits,
  • treatment of deciduous and permanent teeth (colored fillings),
  • sealing,
  • varnishing.

We can perform pediatric dentistry procedures using "laughing gas". This way, we reduce the pain associated with dental treatment, and the child is relaxed and more willing to cooperate. This improves the comfort of work and allows for a smooth procedure.

We invite you to our office!

Adaptation visits for the youngest

The first visits to the dentist should positively predispose the child to prophylaxis or potential dental treatment and prepare our little one for necessary procedures. They should be planned around the 18-24 months of life. It is most beneficial for them to take place in the morning hours when the child is rested and willing to cooperate.

During adaptation visits, the child becomes familiar with the office and the doctor leading them.

Adaptation meetings have the character of educational play. During the first visit with the child, the pediatric dentist shows the child the dental office, introduces him primarily to the chair and equipment in the office, and "treating" a doll or teddy bear engages our little Patient to cooperate.

Every child is different, so we adjust the frequency and form of adaptation meetings to the individual needs of small patients.

Usually, the first visit (adaptation) lasts several minutes, and procedures are only carried out on the next one. We do not force dental treatment. Through the right approach and play, we try to establish a thread of understanding between the child and the dentist, to build solid foundations for long-term cooperation. We also show the child how to properly care for oral hygiene. We teach the child prophylaxis, which reduces the need for intervention by a pediatric dentist in the future.

Thanks to building positive relationships from an early age - the future Patient in adult life will be able to boast a beautiful and healthy smile, and will visit the dental office much less frequently.

Colorful dental fillings

Thanks to special fillings in various colors (yellow, pink, blue, green), we additionally enrich the child's visit and can greatly motivate the little one to continue treatment. The fillings are light-cured and have the same properties as standard "adult" fillings.

Very often, our youngest patients treat the colorful filling itself as a reward for "being brave" and report any ailments to their parents much earlier - thanks to which the treatment is shorter and easier for our brave little one.

Varnishing

Teeth varnishing, which involves coating the surface of the teeth with a special fluoride varnish, is a preventive procedure aimed at strengthening tooth enamel and increasing its resistance to caries.

The fluoridation procedure is best performed after professional teeth cleaning, as this is when its effectiveness is maximized and provides the longest cariostatic effect (inhibition of caries development).

Varnishing

Fissure sealing involves filling the grooves and anatomical depressions in the teeth with a fissure sealant. It is a routine preventive procedure for premolars and molars.

Due to their structure, grooves and fissures on the chewing surfaces are places that are relatively difficult to clean from food residues. Even with very good hygiene, it may not be possible to remove bacterial plaque from grooves and fissures, as their diameter in some places is smaller than the diameter of a toothbrush bristle. This situation facilitates the growth of bacteria and promotes the formation of caries foci as soon as permanent teeth appear.

In order to protect the tooth from the development of caries, a preventive procedure of fissure sealing is used.

The fissure sealant precisely fills the grooves and fissures on the chewing surface of the tooth, thereby preventing the accumulation of food residues and bacterial plaque - in this way it protects the tooth from caries. The fluoride contained in the sealant and gradually released additionally strengthens the enamel of the child's teeth.

For the sealing procedure to be effective, it is necessary to perform it ideally within 6 months of the eruption of the permanent tooth. The teeth to be sealed should be healthy - without caries foci.

Treatments with nitrous oxide sedation

The use of nitrous oxide in treatment is a very friendly and safe method of combating fear and pain. It allows to put a young patient into a state of physical relaxation, pleasant daze and separation from reality, while maintaining his basic reflexes and awareness. Laughing gas is used in pediatric dentistry and in various other fields of medicine.

Children are always given a large amount of oxygen (usually 50 - 60%). The dose is flexibly adjusted to their reactions, hence the procedure is very safe.

During nitrous oxide sedation, we can perform all dental procedures, such as: treatment of deciduous and permanent teeth, (caries treatment, root canal treatment, extraction (removal of a deciduous or permanent tooth)

Patients often ask about the type of sensations during sedation. Most people then feel a sense of floating above the ground, they have the impression of dreaming while awake. After the procedure, 100% oxygen is given - thanks to which the little patient returns to reality within 3 - 5 minutes.
